  We had a small family lunch here on a Monday afternoon. The staff and service were perfect, really attentive and nothing was too much trouble. There was a lot to chose from on the menu, even for a vegetarian like me, and all very hearty and tasty. The menu is a little old fashioned and the garnishes were a little odd (orange and kiwi in a salad to accompany cannelloni!) but we would highly recommend Somerton House to everyone.

  We visited here as an alternative to a motorway service station. The food was lovely the service great, my mother a true Scottish woman rated the soup 10 out of 10. High praise indeed

  Lovely meal in very modern and stylish restaurant. Staff were pleasant, friendly and welcoming.
  
  Our meal arrived quickly and we were very impressed at the quality. My chicken dish was cooked to perfection and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his pasta.
  
  We will be back.
